Couples therapy

A space for your relationship.

In couples therapy we are not looking for who is right. We try to understand what is happening between you, how each of you experiences the relationship, and what could change. Sessions take place at my office in Strovolos or online via Google Meet.

What might bring you

Some couples come when disagreements become frequent, or when, on the contrary, silence has settled in. Others when they feel they have drifted apart, after a breach of trust, or at a big change such as a child, a move or a loss. And some simply want to understand each other better before things get harder. You don’t need to be “in crisis” to start.

How we work

Together in every session

The three of us meet together. I do not hold separate sessions with each partner, so that the balance and trust of both are kept.

Without taking sides

My role is to help both experiences be heard, not to judge.

At your own pace

50-minute sessions, ideally once a week, on a fixed day and time. We discuss the overall length together.

The first session

We get to know each other, I hear what brings you from each person’s perspective, and we talk about what you would like to change. At the end we decide together whether and how to continue.

Frequently asked questions

What if my partner doesn’t want to come?
Couples therapy requires both of you to attend. If your partner isn’t ready, you can start individual therapy for yourself. In that case, if you later want couples therapy, I will suggest a colleague, so that the balance is kept.
Do we need to be married?
No. Couples therapy is for any couple, married or not, who want to work on their relationship.
Is it only for couples thinking of separating?
No. Many couples come to understand and strengthen their relationship. Others come to reach a decision with more clarity. Therapy has no predetermined outcome.
Can we do it online?
Yes, via Google Meet. You will need a quiet, private space where you can both sit in front of the screen.
